Special paint code 999 question

I have spotted at 71 Satellite Sebring Plus that is currently blue, but you can see a color that seems to be Butterscotch in a few places. The owner told me it used to be Butterscotch but i have not yet laid my eyes on the paint code. If it is in fact a 999 paint code car, is 999 always Butterscotch or is the special paint code some other color? And if this is a 999 code Satellite Sebring Plus, it currently has a 383 in it. Did the Sebring Plus's even come with a big block option? And if all this is true, how rare would this car be?

ok, nevermind the 999 option code, I did a little research and found that Plymouths color was Bahama Yellow for Dodge's Butterscotch.........so that problem is solved. But my question still stands on the big block Sebring plus...............

yes the 71 ssp comes with 383 4bbl 4speed or 383 auto

72 -74 ssp 400 4bbl 4speed cars too

71 EL5 - Butterscotch

Yes, you could get a 383 SSP, both L (2bbl) and N (4bbl) engine codes.
The special order codes were only used for butterscotch/bahama yellow in 1969. In 71 they had a paint code designate for it, EL5...pretty common.

Don't know about Demons being painted that color, but there have been a couple Demons with 666 in the VIN featured in MCG. Where's our "devil horns smiley"?
