lokar 727 trans cable

Post by hmiller79 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 9:59 pm

Is anybody running the lokar 727 kickdown cable on their car? I have thought about purchasing this cable, but didn't know how well it worked.

I ran one on a 69 Coronet with a 440 / 727.....thats the ONLY way to go. Much better than stock stuff. You'll love it.

What retains the cable at the tranny end? Is there a bracket? What does the end at the carb look like? I don't have my detent rod hooked up to my carb because the Edlebrock carb (there when I bought the car) doesn't have anywhere to attach that slotted end on the rod. Been shifting it manually.
