I have noticed the R/T specialties have these for 18 bucks.......does anyone know if that is for 1? I was told that they are that expensive.I think there are 15 places to mount the bubble. That is almost 300 bucks...........that can't be right. Do you know Eric?

Hey Jerry, I know you sent me a PM if I had any and I said NO, which is correct and you asked where to get them and once agin I said NO...
I must be sleeping or I had too much pop corn.....
Yes they can be had and yes they are $18.00 a piece at R/T.....
If you go to Roger Gibsons website it looks like the price is $15.00 each
sorry for the mental lapse....

No problem Nick. Since it is only a clone, being built as a driver and not a show car, I hardly find it logical to spend that much money to mount it with those. I am sure a regular nut of some sort ...along witha washer, will work fine. What about the emblem post that I made. Do you have those for the 72 RR? Are they stick on RR emblems or are they like the 69's?

Once again I have to say I do not carry them and the reason is that the emblems on the market these days are not that great and I would rather not carry an item that may be a bad example, it is easier to say I do not have it then to explain to the customer when he asks why does it looks like Crap when I paid good money for it.....

Hey Jerry,
My son is needing some for the insert in his 71 Super Bee hood also. I was going to get some threaded rod or long bolts and use washers like you were talking about, hood insulations covers them anyway was my thinking. I could not believe it when I seen the price of them as well. I guess it cost alot to make the die or whatever they use to make them.

I got a complete set that came with the studs, nuts and bell nuts. I think i got them on ebay. I will see if I can find out who sold them.

If someone has a bad or stripped nut they are not using, I would like to borrow it, this is one of those many parts on my list to try and have made......

Are you talking about the bell nuts or the smaller nuts with the small washer attached?

I would need an original bell nut, the larger one that has been repoped and everyone sells for $18.00 each.....

So, it doesn't take 15 of the "bell nuts" to mount the air bubble? Do the "bell nuts" only mount on the back side where the larger holes are? If so, what mounts the other 11 smaller ones? Anyone have a good picture...obviously, there are smaller ones used too. I was thinking that the air bubble used the bell nuts everywhere.
Oh, my air bubble came with the studs but no nuts///////wonder if it was suppose to.

You're not going to find a much better price than $18 on the bell nuts. Correct, you only need 4. Tom (R/T) carries them as well as the smaller nuts with captive washers. Tell him Eric Mayle sent ya.
