Hey guys.
Where on a car was the differential option noted? I think mine came with 3:55s but I'm not sure. And where was it listed whether or not it was a SureGrip?

Most aren't coded on the tag....only if it came with an axle package (like a super trak pak).

Thats why I asked that question... cause to figure out whats in it now is to do what you mention. Put a jack under the diff. and raise both tires off the ground. Put a chalk mark on the driveshaft and tire then it just takes some counting.

To answer one of the questions above, the reason I'm asking is because at the moment the car seems to have a non-SureGrip, 3.21 gear. That's what it had in it when I bought it. I know the car was raced, and it still goes like a scaulded dog...it's got the high stall converter. I was told they probably put I higher gear in it because of the converter, though I'm not sure why it's not SureGrip. Anyway, I thought the HP-motor equipped cars like mine usually came with 3:55s. Am I wrong? I don't have a build sheet. So I guess I'm just mainly curious about this car's history since I don't know much about it.
