looks like tor red to me...could very well be a different color though, as it's def not original (painted bumper)

just like how general lee restorations can be done in 3 different shades of orange

I agree, looks like EV2, on a Plymouth it was called Tor Red. EV2 on a Dodge was called Hemi Orange.

I can't decide whether I want to paint my 72 RR clone the orange or white like this car. So, you guys are saying that the paint on that car is not EXACT EV2? Which color do you guys like? Oh, it has white interior.

the orange looks a lil off to me...if it's not exact it's most likely due to cost of the paint...B5 True Blue is like $300 a gallon on the ppg site, but Intense Blue was only 130 when i painted my car.

i'm a sucker for white with black, but i love orange...sooo....you got yourself quite a predicament...either way you're going to stand out...just a matter of how much...you can see an orange car from a mile away :D also, maybe it has to do with body work...if you're doing the work yourself and you're not perfect at body work, you'd pry wanna go with white as it will be hidden much better than oragne most likely.

Well I prefer Butterscotch! But if you have to confine it to those two color.....
I really like white on this body style, and you don't see it that often....BUT I think white with a white interior may be a little too much. I'd probably go with EV2
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!Image

My favorit color is sassy green(the original color of my car) but if I have to choose between those 2 it would be a hard decision, maybe it sounds weard but to me it depends on what wheel are under the car. if you take EV2 with black dog dish that would be NICEEEE!!!

but white is also a nice color and what Eric said, you don't see that color on every corner of the street.

well goodluck with your choose and let us know.

Not being a professional body man is exactly why white popped into my mind. In addition, I also thought that maybe white on white might be a littl much. however, I thought that the black air grabber fiberglass/plastic scoop, chin spoilers, wing on trunk and black stobe stripe across the roof would break it up on the outside while black dash, console and carpet might break it up on the inside. I think it might look clean. In regards to body being straight, I think that by taking the time......which I have plenty of in my profession, would allow me to get the panels relatively straight...............body was straight before..........think that with coats of 2k I can work it out with board.Time will tell. In regards to wheels, I love Cragar SS's and have them on my 69 RR. Might put them on if I go white.......and absolutely love them on the orange car. The ralleys look nice though on the white.
