Question about wheel width

Post by ajcpaperboy » Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:24 am

I'm wondering what width steel wheel my car would have had on it from the factory. It's a 71 Road Runner, 383, 3 speed manual, 3:23 pegleg rearend. According to the buildsheet the tires were F70x14 and it had trim rings and dog dish hub caps. Thanks for any help yawl can give.

what code does your buildsheet list for the wheels? IIRC, only 440+6 cars got 14x6 plain steel wheels, if you got them on a 383 car they were 14X5.5

Thanks for your help. Do you know of a list somewhere of the codes on the first 4 lines of the build sheet?
