Yes, thank you! I was hoping for some pics, anybody got any? Also, is there a spray can paint that's a match? Hoe about for the taillights?

Hey does anyone have a link to that post on MOPARTS? I spent some time looking for it last night but couldn't find it.

Thanks,

Dennis

Here's the moparts post http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/sho ... ost3632448

The taillights on a 72 runner would be black (like the pic in your other post). The can paint Totally Auto carries isn't bad for the 71 grill, but I don't believe the 72 color was the same. You'll probably have to have it mixed to get a correct color.

A follow up, if I may. I have a collection of 1972 taillights painted dark argent and one that is silver. Which ones go where?

Hey, BINGO! That's what I needed!!! Is that your car? And, hope I'm not being a pain, but are you SURE that is the correct placement on the decklid? If so, could you post the measurements of the decal and emblem locations? I would be forever indebted to you. I have seen so many different placements that it is so hard to tell what was originally correct.
Thanks a million,
Mike

This and emblem placement post should be together. Hey 1972rm23,did your car come from the factory with the rear emblem there?
