17,000 to 20,000 tops says VMR international for a number 3 and number 2 car respectively. I use VMR because they are conservative and have helped me not overspend on 5 different purchases over the last 4 years. On this car I would have to further deduct what i wanted to spend due to the ft. fenders being glass. Also look over the build sheet with a fine tooth comb to make sure any expensive options have been removed/lost over the years. 35,000 I think is too much of a stretch due to non-original engine and no fender tag.

Pistolgrip, I have been restoring exactly the same car, but numbers match with buildsheet for the past 3 years ( before I get to my RR  ) and it is an expensive car to do correctly. I am still not finished, and I do not add the cost anymore. I guess it depends on what you want to do, is there any chance of gettin the original drivetrain, or if not, rather build a hemi clone? All I can say is I never realised how much E-body cars cost to do these days, and I have had a few, including a '70 Hemicuda in the distant past.
end of the day, it is a '71....

As 71 Cuda's are sky-friggin-high and sought after, I think that this one is too high considering it needs restoration....JMO!

without a numbers matching engine plus the fact it has fiberglass fenders
and you do not know the extent of the body damage and you will have to most likely rotiserie it. I would say fair price is 10k. for the fac tyou have to get a number matching engine. And i would put metal fenders on
