I am doing some major work to my front end (my car that is) , doing all bushings, brakes ect... Is this the correct color scheme for my 71 GTX? BTW this picture is from a 71 RR.

I'm no expert, so take it for what it's worth, but I think front-ends could vary from car to car and plant to plant. The markings are inspection markings, not EVERY part on EVERY car necessarily got inspected, so yours wouldn't necessarily have ALL those same markings. And I think the markings could vary from plant to plant. That's why doing "archaeology" on your specific car would apply--meaning looking for and documenting the markings on your car as it comes apart and gets "cleaned up".
Also, from what I've seen the sway bars were typically "natural" steel not black as you see here, and I THINK the tie rod sleeves would be painted black and NOT natural as you see here. Also, some upper control arms were left natural and some were painted black... If anyone knows more than I do in this area, PLEASE correct my mistakes!
