Seat Foam
Hey ya'll,
Anyone know why year one doesn't make seat foam for late 71-74 b-body buckets? How hard can it be? If I knew how to make the foam I could probably build the molds myself in a day. Are the resto cars getting the old foam put back in, or do upholstry shops make new foam for them?

If you have the original foam they are pretty easy to rebuild,I actually had to add a 1/2" foam layer to the whole bucket seat foam to get it to fill out the covers correct.and the drivers seat part had to be cut out and filled with 2''foam.

I noticed the same thing with the Paddock too. It could be a licensing issue as they are a retail outlet and perhaps eBay isn't condsidered as such due to individuals selling items.aerodynamic wrote:I think you'd have to have an original to start with. As long as I'm ranting about Year One, what's the deal with no Road Runner floor mats? I can get them on ebay all day if I had to, so it can't be a licensing issue, can it?
