Where to buy

Post by 1carcrazyguy » Fri Sep 01, 2006 8:34 pm

I am going to order some stuff for the Satellite next week. I am looking to get the shifter T-handle, seat covers and carpet next week. Any suggestions on who/where to buy from??

seat covers

Post by scottish440 » Sat Sep 02, 2006 12:54 am

You cannot beat the $250 deal going on ebay right now for the front and rear bucket seat covers.....I have a set and they are great.

although they are made in china.....oops.....they look spot on to me...and save me big bucks.

I bought the white set.....and my set for my car before that was a black Legendary and I think they cost me like $400 bucks.

Talking about new seat covers, where do I find the new seat foam for my '71 RR Buckets, I don't see them listet at either Dantes, Year One or the Paddock!

Can I use the ones that fits '70-'71 E-body, or are they just not reproduced?

i thought maybe the e body foam would work, but am not sure...they're basically the same seat, right, so you would think so...

I bought the orange and black complete set. They look OK, I havent installed them yet. Mine were shipped from Canada I got them in less then a week. I felt compelled to buy these in order to save some cash, since my project is starting to drain the bank.

Hi 71GTXD21,

yeah I got the same sad message from Dantes Parts...hmmm, RR seat frame is bigger!
So I need to get the old seat foam fixed I guess.

Thanx,

Capsule

Doesn't legendary auto interiors carry molded seat foams?
