Should the area behind the headlight buckets be black or body color on a 72 RR? I saw a picture of a 71 Charger R/T that was suppose to be original and all of that area was blacked out.
Pictures would really help.

I could be wrong. But, from what I have seen discussed before, behind the grill would have been blacked out so that you would not see the body color through the grill.

They should be black. The rule of thumb is that you should not be able to see any body color through the grille. Here's a picture of how we did the blackout on Project Blue Bird
