thanks to road chicken for his post answering that the air grabber cars had these. My question is graphic-express.com offers 2 different color schemes. Black with white outline and vice-versa. Do I buy the black with white outline for a yellow car which makes the 383 look teeny or the white with black outline to obtain the hollow letter look and which is correct? thanks in advance. this may be the strangest question I've read here in a while.

Outline? The engine callouts that appear above the marker light on the front fender should be solid color--NO outline.

Bruce,

That's correct for everything except the 383 callouts. They were either black with white, or white with black. I can't remember all the rules off the top of my head for which one you got, but I know the black with white outline were used on cars with black strobe stripes, and the white with black outline were on cars with white strobe stripes. I'm not sure about the gold stripe cars.

Let me do a little digging, and I'll see what more I can come up with.
