Road Runner Nest

I'm replacing the grille on my wife's 1972 Road Runner. The former owner of the car installed the existing pieces with only a few (incorrect) screws and the rest of it is just hanging loose.

I need some info on exactly what are the correct hardware pieces that mount the plastic grille into the mounting brackets. Some detailed pictures of the grille and hardware would be WONDERFUL if someone could manage it for me! You can Email them to me at: moparjeff@yahoo.com

I believe Year One has hardware kits for the grills....all the screws and clips needed.

Thanks for responding. I just called Year One and talked with JC. They don't have a kit for the 1972 RR.

I originally contacted RT Specialties and they said that they have the kits. But what they sent me wasn't even close!! Wouldn't even work on a Satellite grill 71 or 72. I called them back and they apologized and seemed completely surprised that they got it THAT wrong. Said that if I could provide them with pix or info that they are SURE they have what I need. That's what lead me to post this message.

Just hoping that some ULTRA COOL owner of a 72 RR out there will read this and be crazy enough to take some pix of their setup and hardware pieces!!

Tom over at R/T is the best source. If he doesn't have it or can't get it, it probably isn't out there. He's MAKING some 71 tail light lense screws for me!
