radios and seat belts

Post by aerodynamic » Fri Jun 02, 2006 11:26 pm

Hey guys,

I can't believe I never noticed before, But I've just realized some rallye dash radio cut-outs have two knob holes and some only have one...what's up with that? Or am I looking at something that has just had the main hole widened out to include the first knob hole?

Also, can seat belts be dyed? I've been looking for a set of black ones and skipping over other colors, but do I need to be? Would dying degrade the integrity of the material?

Does anyone make repro (not universal) seat belts?

The "one holed" units were cut to put ina more conventional style head unit. All ours came with the 2 to the drivers side.

Dying the seatbelt won't hurt the material. You could probably have them refurbished with new webbing and using your hardware.
