Seems you could order most anything back then. That's probably the only way you could get a sunroof car with no vinyl top. I've yet to find a 71 or 72 built that way.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!Image

There ya go, have it your way! Hold the pickles hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us. . (oops slipped into the seventies commercial. .wrong commercial too).

Build it like you think it should be, or the way you want it, and keep on researching. I found a good build sheet decoder (posted on the Serious Satty website in the Missing Links), and it's answering a lot of questions about the Satty I bought. And am restifiying (sort of) my own way. It may be a g.m. attitude, make it your own, but what the heck. It's my car now. . .

P.S. The 73 RR body I found in a junkyard down near Middletown, Ohio, was a B5 blue sunroof car without vinyl top. It's about the only thing left on the car, but that much I do remember.

i decoded the build sheet and thats what makes it so confusing. the box for vinyl roof was empty and the roof paint code was KB5, same as the body.
