Looks like I'm missing the third and fifth ones if counting from the front. So, I guess they're the same size?

My 71 Satellite Sebring Plus only has 4 bows, and its the original headliner. It was a late production car, and it also came with the 72 all argent silver grille. I bought the car from the original owner, and even though it didn't look like it was ever black, I asked her, and she told me the grille was silver when new...I think Dave said some late production cars came like that. :o

Little bit of the subject. P/N 4529876, from MaMopar, is the closest paint that I've found to the Argent for the grille. It is Rallye wheel paint that is in a rattle can. :)

:D From what I understand, the 1971 Sebring Plus came with a black grille with a silver lip & silver inside the light openings. Here is a survivor with the grille I decsribed that was in the nationals survivor tent. (notice the freaking price too!) I love this car. http://www.autabuy.com/Vehicles/Details.cfm?VID=206199 the 72 Sebring Plus is all silver.

Eric, can you give us the low down on this? :help:

idk i love an all black grille - black and argent is cool, idk about all gray yet...when i get to that point i'll have to consider what to do

on the 73-4s, i know they have the plymouth letters in the center of the bumper. idk about satellite script on the trunk - i'm sure that the 74 i found had a RR bird in the corner

yep, my Sebring came with the Satellite in the corner of the trunk. ..same place as the rr standing helmet decal. ..

Go to http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dea ... k-04.shtml

and it'll tell you the placement of the Satellite, Sebring, and Sebring Plus medallions. .

To the best of my knowledge, the road runner (RM), GTX (RS), and SSP (RP) all got the black and silver grilles. If you look in the parts book, it lists a different part number for these than for the 2dr SS (RH). If there was a mid year switch over, I'm not aware of it. That's not to say that if parts ran out on the assembly line they wouldn't have been substituted....
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!Image
