There's a guy out of Pennsylvania that makes 'em for the 73 and 74 b bodys and he sells them on e-bay. Nice and only run about 200 to 300 bucks if I remember right. After I'm finished with the rustification project (man that's a lot of work, but necessary) I'm buying one for the 74 Roadrunner SS!

I just checked and he's currently not listing, but keep looking. He's a pretty standup guy. I e-mailed him some questions and he answered quickly. Guarantees they'll fit a 73 74 Roadrunner/Satellite without trimming and prides himself on the attaching hardware: read, no shortcuts. Paintable, too.

I've also talked to that gentleman in PA, and he does seem like a straight shooter. I hope he doesn't mind but here's his address:

rtjohn91@hotmail.com

Here's the last letter he sent me FYI.

Yes, I'm still making louvers, just a few per week, been making alot
of 1/4 glass window scoops for imports past 6 months or so, few local
import/tuner shops buy them as fast as I can make them...& I don't have to
pay advertisement...ebay bill would get between 200.00-400.00 per month & it
being winter time these parts don't sell as well as in the summer
I did make an Challenger louver this morning...think thats an B - body,
isn't it....sorta lost track, What I've been doing w/louvers is sending them
out unpainted, I don't have an spray booth, and had to repaint many louvers
over past few yrs. because of dust...I paint these in my garage and if windy
day or gust of wind came along..you know what I was doing, several louvers
I had to repaint 3 times... 100.00 worth of paint & additives + extra day or
2 delay. If you want one unpainted is only way I can make it work...
bodyshop price to paint these louvers is around 80.00, takes about 40.00
worth of paint & additives to paint one, w/PPG Urythane, which is what I
always used, although there is much cheaper paint, urythane is what all
bodyshops use these days. I send them out totally ready for paint for 350.00
shipping included, wipe them down and start painting. If this will work for
you... My phone # is 724-397-9049, If I'm not home leave message & phone #
or email me ...doesn't matter.

Thanks
John

350!!! That's pretty good. I've got louvers for a '68 AMX out in my garage. Wonder if he would take a trade?
