wheelarch repair

Post by roelbest » Sat Jul 28, 2007 3:44 pm

This might be a stupid question, but can the front wheelarch lip be used to repair badly rusted rear arch bits? I have a set of nos front fenders for my ' 72 RR , but the lip on the old fenders are ok, I was hoping to cut that and repair the rear lip, which is badly rusted, as per pic.
thanks for any help

On the subject of using the front fender to patch with....

the lower rear quarter can be patched with the front fender (using the section in front of the wheel) the drivers side will patch the pass side rear...and so on...

never really rusts there either...take care all.... scott
