Satellite Hoods
Real quick question. Do the 73-74 hoods fit the 71-72 cars?

My car... was a quarter panel doner. A 1972 Satellite 2 door real clean everywhere else. Built 318 727 car, edelbrock intake and carb, headers and 3.91 gears. Got it in Feb, and am starting to find pieces parts to get it good. I want a 440 and new quarters for starters. It sounds dumb to put major body work in a Satellite, but a sleeper has always been my style. Hope to see you around. My car has been at the Solon tuesday cruise night a couple times.

It will fit but it will not line up with the upper valance. I think it could be done with some good metal work. You would have to graft the rear section of a 73-4 upper valance to the front section of a 71-2 upper valance. There was a blue 72? (I think) in the duke's of hazard that had a 73-4 hood on it. I like the 73-4 hoods better then the callout hoods, they look tougher.
