rear window clips

Post by aerodynamic » Tue Dec 19, 2006 11:41 pm

Hey guys,

Along with the trim clips that go around the rear window, is there supposed to be a couple spacers that center the window and keep it from sliding down right after the install? If so, are they available?

Thx and Merry Christmas

Don't know about their availability, but if you haven't taken the rear window out (I didn't) they aren't really needed. I had one come out with the reveal clip and it appears it is molded to the clip. i.e. the clip and the spacer is a single item.

Let me see if I can find that clip/spacer and I'll put a pix here.

FWIW I'd bet you can make some sort of a spacer. Remember this will be hidden under the window molding so won't be visible.

The spacers are just small rubber blocks to keep the glass from sliding down. You could make them yourself no problem.
4th generation B bodys- there is no substitute.
