Anyone know where I can get new hardware to fasten the hood callouts on my ' 72?
There are 4 flared 'hollow' spacers with thread and a small nut on the inside
Include a pic of the old broken bits.
Thanks

I'm looking at those as well. If I remember, you'll need four of them. What about the other fasteners and how many? I looked at R/T to try and find the others but didnt see them.
Thanks

Looks like six of
these 10-24 captured washer nuts as well. Looks like a pretty close reproduction.

Just ordered the bell nuts and the others. Tom also has the screws for the rear tail lights. Just FYI

Recieved the bell nuts and the other nuts for the call outs from R/T yesturday. Also ordered the correct screws for the tail light lenses from them as well. WOW.

RR6PAK, did your taillight screws fit your lenses good and snug? I ordered mine from R/T specialties as well and mine were too long. I also ordered all new bell nuts for my hood inserts and they were too thick to start on my original studs.

I didn't know there was an issue with the bell nuts or the tail light screws. It will be a while till I know the fit of them since the car is all stripped and at the body shop. I can take one of the new bell nuts and compare with to one of the old ones. Sorry, that's the best I know right now. Hope there isn't an issue because this will be another issue of parts not fitting right

Sad thing is I talked Tom into making the tail light screws and even gave him an original. How the repops came out too long I have no idea. At least the thread pitch is correct. You can cut them off, tap them, and they're fine.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

If that's the case Eric, I'll have to do that.

FYI, the originals looked like this. (on the left)

On the right is what I machined out of aluminum. The original ones would rust as they trapped any water that came down through the holes. The ones I made let the water run throught.
