proper Undercarriage look

What is considered the proper look. I started my Mopar addiction in 1973 preping cars at Terrell Chrysler Plymouth dealer in Rochester, Ny. What I remember the new cars came off the hauler with a light color of rust underneath. I see the "rotisserie' jobs were they are gorgeous. Is that considered a "Conour" restoration? personally I'm going to drive it to car gatherings.
Hopefully the picture comes with this post. already tried once.

originally the underside of the car was primer with some of the body color paint oversprayed onto it, and a concourse restoration would be back to the same way because that is the way it came out of the factory. also a concourse restoration would not typically be driven to gatherings. if you want to drive it and protect it from the elements paint it or undercoat it. the cars you see with the slick underside would also have a paint job on the top side that would be far nicer than any factory paint job especially from the early 70's.

Sure I realize a gorgeously painted under side is not original. I live here in Las Vegas and at Like "The Mopars At the Strip" they have their car show. If you enter the, I guess the all stock or original class they sure do pick them apart for originality. The pictures of mine is after the car has been sitting since 1982 (I wash it with the hose). Except for the shocks (I think) and the cherry bomb mufflers (the sound brings back some great memories) it is still original. Lucky for me and the car "It's a desert out here" no rust just sand and dirt.
