Steering column

I need to replace the shaft in my steering column because the PO cut most of the threads off. My questiuon is , is a shaft from a column shift auto the same as the shaft in the floor shified column? Thanks in advance!

no floor shified column is longer :beer:

Hi,What year is your car? I may have that shaft.I have parts from a '71 flr.shft. column.I think it had man.steering if that matters. :beer: Gary, '71 GTX
