Re: Hood pin cables
This has been a great discussion about the lanyards. I will need this info when the time comes to put the hood pins on my car. I can't imagine the lanyard between the header panel and hood and if it was factory (which I'm sure has been laid to rest as not factory), I'd just have to be wrong!!!...

Re: Hood pin cables
I remember as a kid, on my 71 RR, having to pull the cables thru the grill/bezels....though I was the 4th owner of the car....Could it be possible that the different assembly plants did things differently?? My old 71 RR was a Windsor car....now my St. Louis car, I will check with, but with time being as it is, there may never be a correct answer! JMO

Re: Hood pin cables
Sorry, to dig up an old post, but, did you guys figure out the hood pin dilemma? I am thinking about adding hood pins. And want to be correct.

Want to get a complete new set for my 71, and after reading all this I'm still not sure what to order and where to get it from. Please
