74 Roadrunner quarter window weatherstripping/trim?

Post by RCK850 » Sun Apr 16, 2006 7:08 pm

Looking for the quarter window trim and weather strip for my roadrunner. Where can I find this? does anyone even make it or am I going to have to look and ask for it at swap meets and stuff. I would also like a picture of what it looks like if that is possible. Thanks

There are three pieces to that window. One follows the entire curve on the outside of the window. Then there is a pice that attaches to the inner door panel. The third piece attches to the plastic trim that goes up the back pillar. Then the front doors have the typpical 2 piece(1out, 1 in). In total, there are 10 pieces of weatherstripping for the windows. You can get the whole 10 piece kit from Legendary for $96.00. I'm not sure, but Year One may have it-I think the restoration parts people only carry eight of the ten pieces, though, leaving you without the seals on the plastic interior pillar piece.

Woops! Just saw this is for a 74 RR. I was thinking 71-2. I'm not sure, but they may have the same set-up with the plastic vertical trim on the rear side windows, though. I think that pic from ebay is the rear window trim, since it looks like metal.
