So far I've replaced my motor mounts $150ish (they needed doing anyway)
Shorter air filter $20?
Original intake $200 (not installed)
Ebay mistake $87 (return shipping)
..and the hunt is back on  

  anyone have a 440 base plate for sale?

			Well god dam, and that was one of the companys I looked at and even phoned about a month ago.  Either they just started making them or they arent in steel.
I had a buddy cut and roll up the bottom of mine.  He did a dam good job.  You'd have to look very closely to see that its not stock.

			BEA just posted them on Dec. 10th and they are steel  thay also have the 6 pak one in steel for the same price !

Another thing to notice in the picture is that the carb flange does not support the base and is suspended.
