So my Windsor built car does not have a VIN stamp on the cowl, around the plastic screen or under the weather stripping on the plate, nor is it stamped on the rad support. When I brass wheeled the paint off my motor VIN plate (cause the stamp was so feint) I still cant read it.
My conclusion is that the person who stamped my car was a lazy pussy. I love my car but sometimes it drive's me nuts
I do have a fender tag, dash plate and door sticker and they all make sense including the correct sherwood green paint under the 2nd paint job. Still, I have a dream that one day ill see a VIN stamped somewhere on the body.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, on my '70 6bbl 'Cuda, the cowl #'s were stamped, but the worker did not stamp my radiator support! And no, the car was never hit and it wasn't replaced. The fenders were never off of the car and it still has it's original paint
There is a '71 'Cuda 340 4-spd project out in Colorado for sale that is completely original paint and it has no cowl or rad support #'s stamped at all

Two examples above that when it comes to Mopars you can never say NEVER or ALWAYS!

This is a 71’ v-code Road Runner that was at MATS a couple years ago. Claimed the factory omitted the additional cowl panel that was stamped with vin info on these b-bodies.
Early production 72' Satellite Sebring cowl panel stamping location.
