1972 Satellite Sebring
1972 Satellite Sebring(big block parts car) - Location: Seattle, Washington
The bolt screws into a u-nut clipped to the inner flange of the rear sub frames. The flange is spot welded to the floor pans all around it, so I’m not sure of what the structural function it would have. The only thing that makes any sense to me is to secure the position of the sub frames prior to welding during assembly.
