i think it actually says "bright grille" for sebring, which i guess would mean argent - and i definitely agree on they would have threw one on if it was available - my dad's (Pops) friend in high school had a 70 GTX 440, but on the back of the hood scoop it said 383
speaking of which, anyone ever see a chrome grille? i'm sure it could be done with all the plastic chrome on cars today- dunno if it would look good, but something to ponder even further off topic

or for a tight, tight budget you can always place tin foil tape correctly to have a chrome look.landon1 wrote:i think it actually says "bright grille" for sebring, which i guess would mean argent - and i definitely agree on they would have threw one on if it was available - my dad's (Pops) friend in high school had a 70 GTX 440, but on the back of the hood scoop it said 383

Sorry to threadjack, but wonder if that stuff would make the '73-74 headlight bezels "pop". Mine are really dull and I've tried all sorts of aluminum polishing compound without success. They're just too damned oxidized.Serious Satellite wrote:landon1 wrote:i think it actually says "bright grille" for sebring, which i guess would mean argent - and i definitely agree on they would have threw one on if it was available - my dad's (Pops) friend in high school had a 70 GTX 440, but on the back of the hood scoop it said 383

Yeah, seeing that it's all ball bearings nowadays, I need to prepare my fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. I know I'll need 10 quarts of anti-freeze, should I go with Prestone or Quaker State??mopar71 wrote:we went from headliner to grills to a vinyl top and decals, anybody want to add anything else
