Check out my dash transformation

Check out my latest project. I am going to change over my poopy gold interior over to black and since the interior is out I started with the dash. While the windshield was out I painted the top of the dash satin black, I painted the lower half in the same satin black. Installed a new Grant GT steering wheel. Deleted all the woodgrain on the guage pods and dash, then installed a new dash cap.

Very nice! you painted the bezel black, I have a pic of a yellow satellite with a yellow bezel.

pretty cool...i think i'm going to do mine in a textured argent gray.

what did you use on the gauge bezels? they look pretty shiney

it looks like a totally different car, now will the black paint stay on the gauge panel??

The gauge bezels were done with a silver model car paint pen.

Interesting ad.....what they don't say is whether they restore the dash bezel. They only list gauges....AND notice the auction is only for a bench testing/evaluation of your gauge.
Don't know anything about them, but ads like that make me nervous. I also notice they do not list where they're located....

By right,selling something like that,shouldnt they show the product with no gauges in them?

I know the guy, or at leat of him. His name is Mike. He is in Oxford, MA. He is a regular on Moparts.com. I've talked to people who has had him do their insturments for them and they stand behind the work he does. I'm not 100% sure if he does the bezels or not but I've been told he does the same quality work as others but cheaper. When I get to that point, I think I'll at least call him, as well as the others.

it looks great, nice job! Just my opinion, with the new white face gauge covers (overlays), it would stand out like crazy.

easier said then done though...

or their brushed aluminum gauge faces. . .that would be tricked out. . .
