full vinyl top trim, door top trim

k, got my eye on a full vinyl top trim set...do you have to drill holes in the body or need clips to mount these?

also, i may have found the full bely molding set (pricey, though) are these clipped on, or screwed on?

just wondering haha...obviously i have so much to do on a 3 day weekend...think about stuff to do years down the road 8)

Yes you have to drill holes in the rear quarters.

eck....i see you have to drill holes to mount the lil gold pentastar on the lower passenger fender too...that's gonna hurt...i can't believe someone actually took the time to take off all the trim do whatever with it, then fill all the holes

Usually the hole is already there on the passenger fender.Someone put body filler in the holes for my fender mounted turn signals but I went from the inside and chipped the body filler out. I used a rat-tail file to finish the job. 8)

this is in reply to landon 1, for the full vinyl, you would have to drill a couple on the sides of the qtrs and two larger ones for the chrome pieces that fit over the hump or crease on top of the qtrs near the dutchman panel, they have the nuts inside the trunk for the 2 chrome pieces, also you will need some small tiny screws stainless steel, (they sell these on ebay all the time) a lot of manufactors used these, they are like rivets but screws, then you buy the white plastic clips, also on ebay all the time, these are the smaller ones i'm guessing about a half inch wide and 1 and 1/2 long, these slide over your already drill and installed screws and just pop on your trim, pretty easy, a lot of mopar folks just don't take kindly to drilling out thier sheetmetal, they figure if it ain't rusty it will be, there is a substance you put on the screws to prevent rust, kinda like the wax, used on windshield trim, hope this helps and good luck!!
