RPM Intake/Fact Air Cleaner Fit Under 71-72 Roadrunner Hood?

Post by Ronnman » Fri May 23, 2008 10:47 pm

Does anyone use a RPM intake (383-400 engine) with the factory dual snorkel air cleaner? If so how close is the air cleaner to the 71-72 Roadrunner Hood?
Thanks,
Ron

I would think to (although I have no first hand experience with the RPM). I do have a Torker on my 383 with the factory dual snorkel and it clears fine.

i have a rpm airgap on my 340. It is very close the wingnut will touch the hood. So a suggestion I would have is use a regular nut.
