2 Door & 4 Door Qtr. Extension Question

Post by 73X » Fri Apr 11, 2008 4:56 pm

Anyone know if the quarter panel extensions and wheel houses for 73 and 74 4 door Satellites are the same for 73 - 74 Road Runners? I know 68 - 70 B Body 2 and 4 door pieces are the same.

Not only that but the base length of the four door is a bit longer than the two door. . .

Thanks Guys,

Hope they make sone new sheetmetal soon for these cars. I have some pieces off of a 74 Sundance I parted out last year, I will have to see if I can make them work.

the wheel houses are the same 71 -74 two door or 4 door

not the extensions or framed rails too long for the 2doors  :)

I found a 4 door that is in pretty good shape, I will cut the wheelhouses out of it. Thanks for the info.

Inner wheel housings are the same for 71-4. Four different outters though. 71/2 Ply, 73/4 Ply, 71/2 Dodge and 73/4 Dodge.

i don't think i've ever seen a 4 door other than 71 lol.....um, i believe i read that on 71s at least, you can use the drivers front fender to patch the passenger quarter and opposite for other side if that would help....
