Glove box door stop???

Post by moparmarks » Wed Apr 09, 2008 10:20 am

Was digging through my stack of 71-4B glove box doors and noticed this one. Has a cable instead of a metal bar. Don't know what it came off of but is a 71-4B. Thinking it must be a real early one? Anyone else see one like this?

74 Satellite, mine has a cable as well, but it doesn't seal well in the closed position. . .

the 73 and 74 models have cable stops. i like the 71/72 bar type stops much better, but there's no slot in the dash frame for the bar on 73/74 models.

Well I got up off my butt and wondered out into the yard. Thats what I found. 73-4 had cables and no slot in the dash frame. Guess I never noiced this before.
