Is this a mistake?

Post by Smellslike1974 » Fri Mar 28, 2008 9:11 pm

On this site,it labels this police cruiser as a 1974 Fury,I always believed the furies began in 75..

Wait a minute im confused,

Were the fuires stopped in production but started again in 75 or were they always produced and after the satellite they were considerd furies?

1956 - 1978. In 1975 they went back to the B Body platform.

My brother in law had an early '70s cop car and I thought it was a Fury but after seaching the web it could have been a Monaco or Polara. Damn Polaras and Monacos look to close to the same.

Guess I will need to ask him next time I talk to him. Personally I remember it looking like the pic you linked to.

I remember he use to have an old plymouth '40s cop car and I did some google searches and the only thing close to what I remember it looked like this.

I was bummed he sold that car. I guess I will need to ask him what yr that car was as well. Last time I remember seeing that car was in the late eighties when we use to still drive it time to time and it ran like a jewel.

Damn I can't make the link work.... I can't embed the the pic from the url. I editted my post 5 times... never had this prob before. I just noticed I used the word "remembered" alot in my last post and thats scary since most of the time now in my old age I'm lucky I remember my own name.
