How's the work on the RR progressing?

Too much time at the office has taken it's toll...

Hi!

Well, spending way too much time in the office of late has taken it's toll on the progress of the Road Runner. She's been sitting pretty much as the last pictures show for the last month or so. The good news is that over the weekend we finally did make some progress, and I'll be adding an update tonight. This will be a fun update, so check back tomorrow.

Thanks. It's been a very long road so far, but I am SO glad to have a man of Billy's skill working on my car.

The van is painted 98 Dodge Intense Blue. It's the one I mention took home a 2nd place trophy from the Cleveland Autorama this year. Really nice truck with a well built 71 340. Sounds awsome through the side pipes. ;)

I'll have to get some pictures of the van and post them on here.

Billy's Van

Thanks!

Billy's van really is awsome. It's been really cool to see the van come together out of his imagination. It doesn't have much of an interior in it at this point, but it sounds like he has some great plans for that too. He has a LOT of time in that van just on fit and finish, making all the panels align and the doors close easily.

Maybe one of these days, I'll get ahold of all the pictures from the progress on his van, and put together a project journal for that too.

Thanks Brad! I wish I was able to do more frequent updates, since that would mean that I'm making more frequent progress. hehehe. Though I'm not worried about time on this car, just about the quality of the finished product. While I had hoped to have it done for this summer, I know that even if it's not all back to gether until next spring, it will be ok since when it is finally done, it will be done right. :)

Though I really do wish I could drive it again. I haven't been on the road with her in 3 years now. All in good time, I guess. ;)
