3/11/2004 - More B5 and sunroof install

To continue with the sunroof install, the support braces are going in now. Unlike the factory installation, we are welding to both the casette and to the car.






This one shows the front braces and the area of the roof brace that we cut to clear the sunroof motor. Some factory installations had this done as well.


And a few more detail shots of the cut and the motor fitting in.








The body work is 95% complete on the roof around the opening.


And now for the promised B5, the wheels are done and I'll be looking to order tires soon for them. Here's the whole set.


And here's one of the 8s with one of the poverty caps just set into place. They are going to look GREAT!
