No dude, I AM Dave. I got the stuff dude... Let me in.

Ok, yes, the schedule I had hoped for on the upgrades to the site (including the new reader's rides section) hasn't been anywhere as quick as I had hoped. To catch everyone up on things, I've quit my day job, and I'm moving forward in my own business. For the last few months I've really been burning the candle at both ends - trying to get stuff going in the new business at the same time I was keeping my full time day job! Yikes. I really haven't had the time to devote to the site (or to Project Blue Bird).
The status of things is that my last day at the job is 16 June. Between now and then I'm still working a lot of off hours on the new business, but I've cut my office hours at the job to just 4 days a week. Once I've made the transition to full time in the business, the Nest will get the attention it's due. Specifically we are going to be moving hosting providers (since as part of the new business, I sell hosting, I should have my personal site on the same service that I'm selling my clients). When that move happens, look for a completely new and updated look to the site. My new business, www.designinginteractive.com is a web development and consulting business, and my partner is very expierenced with good web design.
Once the hosting is moved over, and the site is wearing it's new clothes, we'll begin to focus on getting all the features I've wanted to implement for quite some time. I'm really thankful for the community that has developed here, and I promise that I will work to provide an even better home for our community as soon as I can.
