New repo whell lip molding

Has anyone seen the guy on ebay with repo 71-72 wheel lip moldings.He claims to have 45 sets by the end of the month.I am just curious if anybody had seen them and what your thoughts are.I am a little shaky on spending 300.00 plus on an unknown.I found them under "1972 road runner"

I spotted those, and like you, the unknown is scary spending $325 a set. There are still a ton of people who don't even know laysons makes them. And like laysons, I'll bet your better off picking these up at shows in person. I have three NOS lip moldings, just missing the drivers front. I HATE when they auction off new products that can be mass prduced, and set at a reasonable price...say $250 or so....hate to see people bid those up anything past the opening bid.

You have to think that a company isn't going to go to the production expense just to make 45 sets of them.Hopefully in the near future they will be readly available and maybe even at a reasonable price.That's probably wishful thinking.
