Hi evereyone,

just wanted to "shake hands" with you guys since Im green in here.
I can't quite believe that this awesome site really exists, It just great. I find that there's way too much info on the earlier GTX/RR cars on the net and not a whole lot on the so much cooler 71-74 cars. (I think I can get away with saying that in here?!) :)

I've been searching for a '71 B-body for about 6 month by now, and finally I got a Curious Yellow RR clone on its way :D
Btw I live in Denmark, Europe and I think there's between five and ten '71-´72 GTX/RR cars in Denmark, so they're very rare around here too!

Anyway, nice to be here. Ive got a whole lot of reading to do, still about 90% of the threads to go :P

Welcome, welcome, welcome! I'm always excited to hear from folks overseas who love our cars as well. Just remember, pics are always enjoyed! So when that car gets delivered we want to see it! Glad you're enjoying the Nest.

Hi,

sure I will post photos once the car is home.
The waiting is a killer I can tell you, I'm really exited about this car.

Finally my car arrived! I picked it up just yesterday at the container harbour, man what a great experience to unwrap the car and pull it out of the container after months of waiting.

Its a Roadrunner "tribute" car, originally a Satellite Premium, 383 HP, now with a 440-4bbl. It's got power discs, power steering, 727 auto and I think a Sure-grip rear.
Black/white interior, buckets and console. Interior is seriously burnt and worn, this is where the most work will be needed.
Bodywork in great shape, fresh paint in original Curious Yellow with a real steel Airgrabber hood.

More pics to come as work progresses!

beautiful car! Are you going to strobe the roof by chance??

Nope,

It wont be strobed! I'll put the RR logo and the bird above the rear wheels.

I need all the decals for the airgrabber and the trunk lid too.

Thanks guys,

I'm quite happy with the car too! It now sits in the garrage and I've started to restore the interior. Right now its all the weatherstripping, next up are upolstery and interior panels. Here's a pic of my car with new wheels'n'tyres. Its Cragar Black "D" windows 17x8" with 225/50R17 and 255/50R17 tyres.
