Cats and Mopars

Post by pigman » Sun Apr 30, 2006 5:37 pm

Probably don't go well together for most, but we love our cats and ElBee has been going for rides in our RR since he was a baby. He NEVER of course claws the seats and has his own bed room on the massive back seat of the bird.

Yesterday we took him for a picnic....

Cats and RR's

Nice of you to take the cat along. We have 2 cats but never in the car. Just too much fur flying around.
My brother has 1 cat now but his fiance has 2 also. He has a 70 RR. Road Runners and cats make good pets.
We also have 2 dogs, a Cockateal, and a rabbit. Too many pets to take for a car ride.

When I had a cat, I took him for ride........ ONCE.

Oh My!!!! He was all over- not psycho- but nervous. On the floor, on the rear shelf, under my feet, on my lap.

Ever try to keep your composure while driving, and you have a nervous male cat standing on your lap, WITH his from paws onthe wheel like he's driving?

Cat carriers ROCK!!!!!!!

Way back when I was married I actually took our 2 Afghan Hounds for a ride to the vet in the backseat of my Road Runner. A buddy of mine couldn't believe I did that. Well, that was BEFORE I redid the interior. I probably wouldn't do it again...

Oh, and FWIW, Afghans are about the most feline-like dog there is, very aloof, can take you or leave you, and really only care about you if it's time to be fed or scratched...
