Several times I've mentioned here and on Moparts a buddy's '71 Hemi Road Runner. Recently this pic was posted on Moparts of a possible match. Max's RR was this color with the stripe and had the houndstooth inserts in the seats. The only thing is, if my memory hasn't totally failed, Max's car had louvers, go-wing and chin spoilers.
Unfortunately, I never took any pictures of the car.
I'm gonna email this pic to Max and see what he thinks. Regardless of whether this is the car or not, this pic sure has brought back FOND memories of the only Hemi '71 Road Runner I've had the pleasure to cruise in...

Even though I'm not a big fan of brown cars, this one is a beauty. Unfortunately, I'd never seen a 71-74 Mopar in my life until I got mine, so it's the only one I've ever been in. I'm originally from a small town and just before I moved, it seemed like there were about five more running around town. But the 71 has to be one of the greatest looking cars ever, yes?
Don't think anyone here is gonna argue with you about the '71 being the best looking. I think John Herlitz, the car's designer, considered it some of his best work. He only regreted some of the compromises they had to make to get the car into production, certainly not the overall design of the car.
