Hey
Anybody ever seen a 71 with a bright orange interior-not the black/orange, but solid orange? Is it over the top, or allright? Also, would the carpet, dash, etc. be black, because I haven't seen orange carpet yet.

I've only seen the pic in the Year One catalog of an orange interior in, if I recall correctly, a '72 Road Runner. In my opinion, YES, it's over the top. And that car has black carpet, dash, door panels, etc. My Road Runner has the orange and black interior and that is plenty bright by itself!

That's kinda what I thought. I've been a fan of the black with orange inserts since I first bought my car. Judging by the inserts, having the whole seat orange would be pretty wild-aka mopar.

As far as I know, for 71 the only car you could get full orange seats in was the Cuda. It had black carpet/dash/door panels.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

Yeah, I looked at the Year One catalog AFTER I made that post, and realized it was a '73 Road Runner and it was still the orange and black interior... Doh!!! Other than that, the only orange seat pictured in the Year One book is shown with the seat by itself... but it IS still over the top!
