1 of 1 1974 Road Runner

Post by maxxx440 » Mon Jan 21, 2019 6:26 pm

Has anyone else seen this ?? http://fastmusclecar.com/best-muscle-ca ... /#comments

Engine: 360cu, 4 barrel, V8
Transmission: A883 4 Speed.
Rear end: 2.92 gears, 8 3/4 Sure grip rear axle.
Mileage: 126,662
Exterior Color: B5 Lucerne Blue.

This car is a true rarity, a feature of the ‘top 10 Mopar cars’ in 2010 and ‘Mopar Alley’ at the 2010 Sema show, amongst others.

The ‘1 of 1’ claim comes from the options of a sunroof, four-speed manual, pistol grip shifter, 360 4 barrel engine and track Pack/Performance package.
The car has been fully restored with around 2300 miles since the restoration.

The car’s engine features a stock, California Thermoquad carburettor. It is also a two Fender tag car.
All parts on the car original apart from the exhaust.

They did require the vinyl up through 1972. But things changed in 1973. ASC started producing manual sunroof kits that they sold to Chrysler. Instead of pulling the cars off the assembly line and having ASC employees install the sunroofs, Chrysler now could install these kits without pulling the cars off the line. So with this change, they got rid of the mandatory vinyl requirement for 1973 on some but not all models. I have several 1973 sunroof cars without vinyl in the the Mopar Sunroof Registry.
