AMD saud that there is simply not enough demand for fenders and doors for 71-72 and probably for 73-74. Guess I was lucky that my fenders were repairable. I did find some decent fenders but they wanted $800 for the set and I would have to put some work in them on top of it. :(

That's what I was afraid of. These cars are hard enough to find here in the Pacific Northwest rust belt and when you do find them they want a lot more than they do in the warmer southern states.
I did find some decent fenders but they wanted $800 for the set and I would have to put some work in them on top of it.
I paid $900 for mine with side-marker lights and was lucky to find them within an hour and a half drive from home. The lower rear sections on each needs a patch about 2 or 3 inches across and one has a crease on the lower front that need hammered out. He wasn't going down on his price but after I bought them he lowered the price on a taillight lens and rear side-marker lights. $950 total price.

My other option was to have a set shipped from the mid-west and that didn't sound any cheaper after shipping cost.

I have a nos pass side door skin if anyone is willing to use it for reproduction..
