Finally got Dale Mathews' and my white '71s together at the Petty Garage show today. Been trying to do this for quite a while...

Finally home and downloaded the photos from the REAL camera instead of just from the phone that I posted earlier.

Dale's is a cool car, he's owned it for 21 years, numbers 383 in it with Eldebrock heads, and he's put 40,000 miles on the car since redoing it. It has been to the Nats, Carlisle, up to Detroit, etc. Dale DRIVES the car! It's also been written up in Mopar Muscle. Dale also has a '71 GTX that he's currently working on repainting and then will also drive. He's got a few other cool Mopars as well, like a Superbird and THE Hemi 1970 Road Runner pilot car...

Funniest comment all day was when I opened the hood to my car to display the 440+6... a teenager to the left of me asked what I paid for the Optima battery in the car. Confronted with a 440+6 and all he can comment on is the cheap Advance Auto battery I have in the car?
