Well, I drove the Bird on it's longest trip so far on Sat. I went to the Ford Fest, with a few Mopars thrown in. This was the first, and last time I will go to that show. When the judges come up with Ford t shirts on, well then there is no use. But as a highlight anybody that wanted, got to do 5 laps around the Nascar track, so that was kind of fun, even though I was scared of doing something to the car.

Your car looks great 71bird! I'm glad to hear you separated the men from the boys by driving your Plymouth to a ford show . I run into that same scenario everytime I drive my Roadrunner to a carshow. It's usually all fords and chevys. I was hoping to make the Bristol show but didn't have the time. Congrats again

Well, what is sad it didn't start out as a Phord show. This for years was a MoPar only show, but due to the people that run the show it went down hill, and the only way to save it was letting the phords in. So now it is called Fun Ford weekend, and Mopar Thunder. So now it is basically a Ford show even though there are more Mopars than in the last few hers, but it will be the last I go to it.
