Metro Moulded SUPERsoft VS 7-F replacement quarter window seals just showed up today. Overall not bad. The obvious differences that I see are...
1.) Top flat piece that butts up against the roof rail is smaller.
2.) Width of flap that the door window overlaps is about 2/3 narrower that original and the crimps inside are more noticable.
3.) The lower mounting tab is considerably shorter. I had to drill a new hole in the stainless and into the (aluminum?) frame underneath which allowed me to reuse the original screw.
The upper (2) photos are a side by side of the new seals vs. the old seal. I got mine R/T Specialties but I see that Summit Racing has them for $22.97

Re: Quarter window seal comparison: original vs. reproductio
i had the exact same thing. just wait till you try and buy / install window sweeps. the repros stink and the providers dont care because "b body guys have been making them work for years" as they told me.

Just out of curiosity, Where were these made?
Re: Quarter window seal comparison: original vs. reproductio
The window seals i received that were just like these were "metro" the window sweeps i referred to in previous post were from the top cat wisker people, purchased from restortion specialty who made the statement about them being good enough for other b body guys
