Air Grabber ?
what determines if the hood is painted black behind the Air Grabber I've seen some with and some with out

That has to with weather the car has a certain decor package…… I think.

It's my opinion that all 71 air grabbers came with the blackout behind the bubble. Yes V21 shows up only on the A87 road runners, but I believe this was just a factory coding thing for standard hood cars and did not affect whether an AG hood car was painted black.
